One of the ways to empower persons living with Albinism is by equipping them with skills in product development and training on how to package and market their products. These skills can develop and can be used to start big business which increase household incomeĀ 


An increase in investment in relevant skills training, emphasizing training appropriate to the job market and the informal sector by among other things, greater collaboration between employers and training providers;


The more effective promotion of entrepreneurship among people with albinism, by the provision of better information on market opportunities, training in business skills, access to capital (credit and other financial services), mentoring by qualified persons, and other business support services

The Best Experience Ever

Albinism Umbrella says that in spite of that fact that Uganda is a signatory to the united nations human rights council that advocates for the prevention of attacks and discrimination against persons with albinism, it has not done enough to address the challenges they face. They say waiving taxes on sunscreen lotions and providing special needs teachers in government school to attend to persons with Albinism will go a long way in catering to their needs.
